The DAT file seems to be a pack of 331files. On the look up table they span from index 0-330 and contain most of the assets for the game. I was able to verify TIMs and animation files are present in the DAT. However some TIM files have their pixel data compressed using RLE and can be identified by the presence of a value in the reserved portion of the TIM header

This is still in the early exploratory stage and subject to change but from what I have seen, animation files have a header of 06 00 00 00 07 00 00 00 with multiple files packed together. Animation files are located in the file pointed to by index 19 of the lookup table which starts at LBA 992 and spans 160 sectors meaning this has to be an animation pack. The exact start location for the following animations have been found and are all idle animations:
